EXPOSITION ON PSALM 23 (PART 3)

“The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want…”

Today, we focus on:

■ “I SHALL NOT WANT”

Since The Lord Himself is the one calling our attention back to “I SHALL NOT WANT,” It gives me confidence that God wants to bless someone.

“I SHALL NOT WANT” is an individual decision.

The phrase “SHALL NOT” tells me that “want” is something that must be dealt with ahead.

Because God created the universe to operate by seasons, He changes times and seasons.

In Genesis 41:15-36, Joseph finally interpreted Pharaoh’s dream.

He came before Pharaoh & told him that his dream meant there would be seven years of abundance in the land of Egypt, followed by seven years of famine. Joseph recommended that “a discerning and wise man” be put in charge and that food should be collected in the good years and stored for use during the famine.

We all found ourselves in tight situations today because we did nothing with dreams that God showed us years back. Let us ask God for mercy and ask Him to make a way of provisions. Christ is the only way of escape. If you find yourself in a mess, you need instructions to come out of it. Ask God to lead you. Even Elijah was led on how to get food supplies during famine. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. God will reveal you to someone and will reveal someone to you in Jesus name. God bless you.
