EXPOSITION ON PSALM 23 (PART 6)
“He makes me lie down in green pasture
WELCOME BACK TO OUR SERIES…
Isn’t it amazing that nobody lies up but down.
It is during lying down that some of the best gifts of life were brought into existence and preserved.
The woman(Eve), who is the figure of help meet and reproduction made when God made deep sleep to fall upon man.
The psalmist sheds further light on lying down in Psalm 4:8. “I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O LORD, make me lie down in safety.”
Psalms 16:7
“I will bless the LORD who has counseled me; indeed, my conscience instructs me during the night.”
Most operations are done when humans are put to sleep. God has performed operations on people during sleep.
Job counsels us in the book of Job 33:14, 15
“For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it. He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds.”
Solomon had wealth transferred to him by God while lying down in his sleep.
There are people who don’t sleep even when they are not praying. Some stay awake thinking about the wrong someone did to them.
And there are others who don’t sleep because they can’t for just no reason. For such, I pray for grace today to sleep well.
Psalms 127: 2 says,
“Yes, He gives sleep to the one He loves.”
I join my faith with your faith, and I want you to do this: “Get a warm cup ????OF water ???? and raise up declaring FATHER I THANK YOU BECAUSE YOU LOVE ❤️ ME UNCONDITIONALLY I KNOW THIS I HAVE SLEEP RESTORED.” Drink this water ???? by faith and share your testimony.
