THE SPIRIT ITSELF
Romans 2:26
“But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with inexpressible groanings.”
Romans 8:16
“The Spirit itself beareth witness
with our spirit, that we are the children of God.”
1. There are gifts of the Spirit. It means the gifts that The Holy Spirit gives. “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
When He gives gifts, He doesn’t take it back. A person may use the gift in ways that dishonor God.
2. There is The Spirit itself. It means He is the one expressing Himself through you and through those gifts.
3. But then, there is power of The Spirit. It means the Holy Spirit using your body as a generating set to power on situations that are dead. This happens as we fellowship with Him in long-term praying in The Spirit and also in the word of God.
Move beyond the shallow waters(gifting) and let the Spirit have you as you yield to Him.
