MY CUP RUNS OVER. SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME.
Cups do not only signify blessings.
When the mother of James and John wanted Jesus to give her the assurance that her 2 sons would have the 2 sitting positions next to Jesus in heaven, Jesus asked:
MATHEW 20:22
“Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink? They say unto him, We are able. But Jesus replied, “You do not realize what you are asking.”
???? cup is a type of suffering uniquely designed for each child of God by God to test how genuine their faith is.
Paul called it the fellowship of His suffering.
Jesus said to the father, “LET THIS CUP PASS OVER ME.”
It is the same cup of suffering we share with Christ that we partake of His glory.
When you say, “My cup runs over,” you begin to understand the standpoint of the scripture:
John 1:16
From His fullness, we have all received grace upon grace.
Fullness of Christ made us partakers of his suffering and of his glory.
2 Timothy 2:12
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.”
Those who deny God in trying times are dangerous. They are birds ???? ????⬛ on the corridor. True love ❤️ sticks together in hard and good times.
The church of Jesus Christ is built on love ❤️ and not on emotion. Our faith works through love ????
Galatians 5:6
“Faith working through love.”
1 Peter 1:7 says,
“These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor…”
The value of Christ and the Holy Ghost in you is more than what you are going through.
All that is happening in the world ???? is coming to prove what value you place on Christ and your faith.
Do you know that just when the economy recession started, some have exchanged Jesus for money and food. That’s why the antichrist loves to use food and money:
Revelation 13:7
“…and that no one could be able to buy or to sell unless he has that mark.”
Return back quickly to God. You were created for His Glory and not for sex in exchange for money. God loves ❤️ you every day.
Job 23:10
“But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.
The only assurance of His goodness and mercy come after we pass the test.
After Jesus said, “Not my will…” Angels came and strengthened Him.
There is an angel called goodness, and there is another called mercy. They are waiting to crown ???? you after every trial and temptation.
Hear what they are saying:
Psalm 20:5
“May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the LORD answer all your prayers.”
The Lord has invested so much in you that you can’t let them slip off in trying times.
