TEXT: EPHESIANS 4:1
” but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ”
Just as we grow physically, we grow spiritually.
It is not a matter of whether you do right or wrong.
As long as you are a spirit being, growth happens daily in your human spirit.
Just as food affects growth physically, the type of spiritual food you eat determines your spiritual growth.
The strength of any person, family, church, and nation is determined by what they feed on.
When your child was younger, he needed you to help take something on the dining table.
Now that he has grown up, his hands can reach it.
He doesn’t need to pray before approaching the table. His confidence is in his growth.
God wants us to grow in order to respond to situations just like He(our heavenly father) does.
Whatever level you have grown up to, you can make contact with.
In Language, we use the word “THIS” for what is close enough to us while we use “THAT” for what is a little far from our reach.
This is why you don’t talk to God as if He is far away. You talk to Him as someone with you because He is.
Jesus said, “I am with you always.”
But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above)
or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach)
Faith grows by the spoken word.
What you read prepare your mind for what you will say.
The word you read shouldn’t end in your mind. Let the word enter into the soil of your heart(i.e spirit) so that the word may grow.
Your word is the door through which the word enters into your human spirit.
We get the word of God into our human spirit n through CONFESSION(i.e saying to yourself what God says to you)
Your words release into your environment only what is already inside your heart.
We release the word in our heart into our physical world by PROFESSIONAL. TO PROFESS MEANS TO SPEAK FORTH THE WORDS IN YOUR HEART.
when the word within you, word fills you up, it will come out by itself. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
The wedding Jesus attended, water ???? was first fetched into the 6 waterpot to the brim before they started to fetch from it.
Do not just use the word directly. The word of God is supposed to fill your heart ❤️ first, and then you fetch from it by speaking them forth to situations around you.
Whatever is growing up is also losing closeness and contact with what on the ground.
For example, if the orange ???? tree ???? in front of your house ???? has grown up so much that it now touches your roof, it also means the branch of the tree ???? is no longer close to the ground.
The more you grow in grace, the more you rise above that which is below.
This same principle is applicable spiritually.
If We are to grow in grace, We are to feed on the word. The word we actually speak to ourselves or hear a preacher speak is what grows our faith.
” Faith comes by hearing and hearing by every word that proceeds from the mouth of The Lord.”
When your faith in God grows, your confidence in God also grows.
The food for the flesh is everything that opposes the word of God. They enter through the five senses.
The food for the spirit man is the proceeding word. I.e The words that proceed out of your mouth.
” Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Mathew 4:4
Desire the sincere milk of the word that may grow thereby.
Instead of using a spiritual ladder ???? to ascend, let your faith grow to the heights you desire divine contact.
There are children of God seeking encounters while some are growing into encounters.
If our churches and nations must grow in strength, we must grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
