TEXT: 1 Samuel 2:30
“‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.’But now the LORD says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.”
The Almighty God saw something in Eli why He made the promise that Eli’s family tree will be priest forever.
But then, God changed His mind because Eli denied God continuity by not commanding his seed(children) after God.
Whatever God desires to do in you, He also desire to do it through you.
You are not living only because of you. You are living because of Him. He wants those who don’t know Him see your good works and glorify Him through you.
God’s gene(Christ life) must continue through you. Every other thing you do as a Christian is secondary.
I call it generation(Gene to the nations)
The gene(seed) of God is in you. Stand out and let others see Jesus in you.
That’s the whole essence of the new creation!
