“When He had said these things, *He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed* the eyes of the blind man with the clay.”
Jesus came from heaven and he also took what’s from the earth.
He used his own saliva plus the earthly soil.
Because human is closely associated with a particular type of soil name humus soil.
Also, humus is closely associated with the word “humility”
It is apparent that soil is so low that everyone can walk on it.
Jesus said in Mark 11:29,
“learn of me; *for I am meek and lowly in heart.”*
After Jesus mixed the soil with his saliva, the soil became one with the saliva of Jesus.
*Take my yoke upon you,* and learn of me; for I
*am meek and lowly in heart*
Yoke make to two do one thing in common.
*Then, Jesus lifted the mixture(the sand and saliva)* from the ground to anoint the eyes of the blind.
*Whenever we become lowly, God lifts us.*
When we humble ourselves under the mighty hand ✋️ of God, He will lift us up.
