*THE WORKS OF GOD*
JOHN CHAPTER 9: 3, 4
*Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.*
I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
Jesus saw a man born blind and his disciples asked if it was because of his sin or his parents sin.
This man had no eyes at all. What Jesus was saying was that, this particular man was allowed by God to be born without any eye so that Jesus could use him as a case study to prove that He is the image of the invisible God.
God is the only one who created everything out of nothing. Since this man had no sign or shape of eyes, he became God’s sample for Jesus to use to perform signs and wonder.
That was the reason Jesus said “I MUST WORK THE WORKS OF HIM THAT SENT ME…”
Jesus explained further in John 10:38
But if I do them, even if you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and may understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.”
The works of God suppose to make men believe that Christ was the messiah.
John 6:29
Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
John 14:9
Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
God would go any length to reveal His son to whoever seeks to know Him; even if it means by Him performing signs and wonders in the life of such individual.
If you seek to know Him, you will experience His works of supernatural in your life. The essence of the miraculous is to reveal Christ in His FULNESS.
Stay lifted.
