*GREAT MERCY*
*1 PETER 1:3*
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. *It is by his great mercy that we have been born again* because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now, we live with great expectations.”
God didn’t just save us by mercy; He saved us by His *GREAT MERCY*
There are believers all over the world who value material things above salvation.
They probably have never for once considered what it cost God to redeem us back.
*Romans 5:7*
*”Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person…* But *God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.*
The above scripture is saying that we can hardly find someone who would die for a good person. *But God died for us who were bad.*
The perfect gift of His only begotten son He gave to us while we were still enjoying sin was what He valued most.
Am sure most professed Christians don’t think about this. Our needs at a particular time are what matters most to us. We don’t see how great our salvation is. We probably see salvation just as “say this prayer after me” stuff.
If God grants all your requests today, I am sure some of you will no longer need God. That’s not what true love is.
*As for me, I will love ❤️ The Lord at all times.*
I have not found any generation who do not love God like the one I have seen in the last 20 years. It seems like each individual is in competition with another.
Everyone seems to be in hast to outperform the other. It is really sad. Sometimes, I feel like telling God, *”Daddy let me pack my bag 🎒 and let us go home. 😢”*
David saw this when he observed how people changed and revealed their true character under pressure;
*I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”* ps 116:11
*True identity comes to the surface whenever people are under pressure of any kind.*
There are preachers who use ministry to become famous instead of using ministry to build people and to glorify God.
If you have been truly saved by grace, let me tell you that *your salvation is not ordinary. He gave you Himself, His life, and all His love ❤️*
He has loved you with an everlasting love. *For no love is greater than this that a man lay down his life for His friend.*
There are some of you who are so fervent but go into hibernation when the money in your account reduces. Haaaaa…
Let me stop here and simply admonish you to always give God thanks for His great mercy and His unspeakable gift 🎁
Stay lifted.
