*RELATIONSHIP*

*JOHN CHAPTER 7*

31. Still, many in the crowd believed in him. They said, *“When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man?”*

32. The Pharisees heard the crowd whispering such things about him. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees sent temple guards to arrest him.

33. Jesus said, *“I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.*

34. *You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you can not come.”*

35. The Jews said to one another, *“Where does this man intend to go that we can not find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?*

36. *What did he mean when he said, ‘You will look for me, but you will not find me,’ and ‘Where I am, you cannot come’?”*

The jew continued with their controversy about Jesus, whether he was truly the Christ.

They went further with their controversy about his statement.

They began to generate questions that had nothing to do with what Christ meant.

When anyone falls out of a relationship with God, he or she will begin to entertain questions about what the word of God didn’t say.

If these people had a relationship with Jesus, they would have sincerely asked Jesus to explain the statement, just like he explained the parables to his disciples.

When a relationship with God no longer exists, people will make simple instructions in God’s word seem like complex.

You will hear questions like: “What of so and so?”, “May be God did not say…”, “What if we do or do not…”, “May be God meant…”

If you truly love God and want to obey him from your heart, the spirit of truth will guide you into all truth. He won’t leave you more confused.

In what aspects of your life have you made what God told you complex because you didn’t believe what He told you initially?

If we come to God sincerely, He will help us.

*HEBREW 11:6*

“Anyone who wants to come to him *must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”*

How you approach God is how you will see Him. Do not help God generate the question outside what He didn’t say.
Stay blessed.
