Now, there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.
1. Jesus used what was available.
2. Jesus used what was already in use.
3. Jesus used what was available for a purpose that seemed the same in order to get different results.
LESSONS:
●The 6 waterpots were close enough to where the need was. There is no problem that has no answer close enough.
● The waterpots were being used for cleansing, especially. God rarely uses whatever we have not given ourselves to. David already knew how to use the stone and the sling before he met Goliath. David already knew how to play the string instrument before he played it before Saul.
● Jesus used what was available for a use for a purpose that seemed alike in order to achieve different results. The pots were used for water. The water was used at this time for supplying wine 🍷 and not for cleansing.
Learn how to yield to God. The same business can yield different results.
It was only used for that result at that time. If the Holy Spirit leads you to do certain things at a particular time, don’t make doctrine, ministry, or rules out of it.
