TOPIC: LENGTH OF DAYS & LONG LIFE.
TEXT: PSALM 90:12
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
When David made this sound statement, many always associate it with their age.
If someone makes a statement like: “I SCORED 20 IN THE EXAMINATION.”
The question you would probably ask is ” OUT OF WHAT?”
Proverbs 3:2
“For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.”
■ length of days refers to how much you have been able to accomplish within a given period of time.
■ long life speaks of how much of you time on earth you have been able to dedicate to what you were originally born to do.
As you begin to grow older, you will notice your desire will move from mere needs to purpose.
Everything you are and have will be determined from the purpose of your existence.
Purpose is the reason for existence.
So, teach us o Lord to number our day that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
