TEXT: Philippians 3:13
“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead,”
Canoes move forward on water by pushing the water backward
The direction is not certain when we don’t give direction of flow to the water.
Psalm 24:1,2
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters”
Wind is a powerful force that God uses to move the water forward.
“The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don’t know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Whenever the devil sends wind to move you backward, you are actually moving forward.
Paddle the water backwad, and the canoe will move forward.
But, if you turn around your sitting position and face your past( the direction you once backed,) you will start seeing yourself as if you are moving backward.
The person who refuses to forgive always focuses on the past and talks about it more.
He/she considers what was done against him/her as more important than what’s ahead.
The past never leaves those who dwell on the past.
Those who live to win their past don’t win in the end.
Those who don’t forget their past, become instructional manual for those who missed their ways.
