Whenever you are nearing your main purpose, there are things you may see and that wouldn’t be strange because Jesus who is The Author and The Finisher of our faith did experienced the same.
Jesus as The son of man is our example of our journey here on earth ? both in life and in ministry
He is The word of God personified- The image of The invisible God for us and to us.
He lived and we are to follow in His steps.
At His birth, King Herod tried to rise against Him.
At the commencement of His ministry, the devil ? tempted him and would have Him deviate from the purpose.
At the heights of accomplishing His purpose on earth, those who are familiar with him rose up against him.
Nothing that had happened in this word that is new.
In Ecc 1:9
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which one can say, “Look! This is something new”? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.”
The word of God will be fully accomplished without even a dot left.
Human appearance is so sensitive a formation that spirits seek to express itself through Human body.
The Human body is the channel spirits express themselves most.
“And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” Philippians 2:8
When the demons ? entered the pigs ? those pigs died too soon. Human only has most capacity to accommodate spirits or The Holy Spirit.
If you are saved by God’s Grace, your recreated Human spirit has the capacity to operate in oneness with The Spirit of God.
1 cor 6:17
But the one who is united and joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
Therefore, our recreated human spirit is the gateway for The Holy Spirit into our mortal(physical) human body.
1 Cor 3:16-17
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.”
He went further:
In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (ESV), he asks, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
This is so apparent that The Lord dwells in those who are saved by His Spirit.
However, the body is so weak sometimes that, if you and I don’t keep submitting it to the Holy Spirit, you find those whom you consider as good will soon start to misbehave.
LET’S LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED WHEN JESUS BEGAN TO BE READY TO ACCOMPLISH THE MAIN REASON WHY HE CAME IN HUMAN FORM.
John 1:29
“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
The core course(not elective) was to taste death for all men so their sins would be taken away!
So, Christ through death paid for the wages of sin which is death.
Hebrew 2:9
“Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.”

CONSIDER THIS FIRST THAT IT WAS THE CROSS THAT RAISED HIM ABOVE THE REST.
The Cross for the offenders who were crucified was only emblem of shame but for Christ, it was Glory in disguised as shame.
The height of the cross was so tall that everyone could see him crucified from afar.
God used the cross as a situation of lifting and exaltation for Christ.
Philippians 2:8-11

And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”
LET’S BREAK THIS DOWN:
There are things you will never experience until you start entering into your main purpose of Existence in life and in ministry.
LETTER A(ADVANCEMENT)
When Jesus began to advance towards Jerusalem in the fulfillment of the major purpose, men and women began to commend Him.
LETTER B(BETRAYAL)
One of his disciples had been secretly been visiting the high priest on how he might betray Jesus.
The day satan entered into him was not the day of BETRAYAL. Just as you don’t just build a house without first buying a plot of land.
LETTER C(COMMUNION)
In the evening, judas was the one who dipped his hands in the cup with Jesus and yet he was the BETRAYAL.
Did Jesus know? Yes. But was he violent about it? Not at all.
Did he start to post on social media about it? NO!
A PERSON IS RIGHT IF HE IS RIGHT, WHETHER BY HIS SILENCE OR BY HIS WORDS.
Even king David saw this long time in old testament:
Psalm 41:9
“Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.”
LETTER D(DENIAL/DEPARTURE)
After judas had betrayed and the soldiers arrested Jesus, everyone departed from him and Peter even denied knowing Him.
You know, people say Africa ? is the way it is because of the condition of our hearts. Once someone rises in any family or religion setting, immediately the majority will start to look for what is wrong about the person to bring him or her down. You can imagine the priest getting angry Jesus healed someone on Sunday.
I have told people, don’t look for an excuse. Most of the times, your heart is already conditioned to do wrong before you ever found the reason for doing it.
And isn’t it amazing that, those who are familiar are those who become jealous. Even spouses and siblings.
“I have not found this faith in Isreal” Jesus said.
The faith Jesus saw was not even amongst his disciples.
Only few are created to lift others up. When you find such, keep them in your prayers and don’t stop refreshing your page so that you don’t get disappointed when they too change. ”
Jesus did not hesitate to ask, “will you ? ALSO go away”
It takes the heart of Jesus to stick closer than a brother without any gain attached.
John 2:24
“But Jesus, for His part, did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all people [and understood the superficiality and fickleness of human nature],” Amplified version
LETTER E(ELIMINATION/ELEVATION)
In math, there is something called elimination by substitution.
I was wondering where the crowd who kept screaming “crucify him” came from.
I found out they were the same who said hossana as he rode on donkey into Jerusalem. That shows the futility of praise ? of man.
It doesn’t last. Only those who have seen from the mountain ⛰️ top and have beheld their eternal home ? can behave in the midst of perversed and adulterous generation.
I was like, are these crowd crazy. You guys just eat the fish ? and bread ? he provided when you were hungry?
The heart that is calouse can never be grateful even if you cut off your head and present as gifts.
Even the Governor and the king became friend just because they now have common enemy ? called Jesus
Luke 23: 12
(Herod and Pilate, who had been enemies before, became friends that day.)
You will be surprised in like how people who are not friendly at all suddenly become friends, not because they enjoy the company but because of conspiracy.
That’s substitution by elimination
Even the crowd demanded that the thieves be released instead of Jesus. Substitution by elimination
Thank God for The thief that suddenly became aware of who Christ was.
I don’t really blame the crowd. That the definition crowd that particular day. The definition of crowd that evening was,,
“I don’t have the mind of myself. Whenever I am programmed to do evil ? against anymore, I implement quickly without thinking even if the person had never done me harm.”
So, they substituted Jesus for elimination but God meant it for elevation.
Therefore, God hath highly exalted him and gave him a name above every other name….
It would appear God gave Jesus the name the day he died on the cross. No! The name had always been his name. The blind man already called before that time “Jesus son of David have mercy on me.”
God simply put unseen force behind that name that compel everything to bow even without considering why they do what they do.
When you reach the place of elevation becauseyou have been through the process, no one will understand what you have been through and why things respond to you in life.
I want to encourage you not to stop at LETTER A, B, C, D but reach further to letter E.
AND IF YOU TRIED TO FORGET ONE, REMEMBER YOU HAVE 5 FINGERS AND EACH WILL KEEP THE MEMORY GOING.
