*YOU HAVE FOUND MERCY*
*PSALM 89:2*
*”For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever.”*
*Mercy build up.* It doesn’t pull down.
*Mercy* and *grace* have something in *common*:
Act 20:32
“Now I commit you to God and to the *word of his grace, which can build you up.”*
Hebrew 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may *obtain mercy and find grace* to help
Because mercy builds up, when you build people up instead of tearing them down, you obtain mercy and the grace to help in time of need increases upon you.
Those who stand by mercy don’t see themselves as better than others. They don’t talk about people’s lapses all the time because they are what they are by the grace of God.
That’s what Jesus meant when He said, *“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy”*
Whenever they are pulling others down, those who trust in mercy defend them.
Because, at one time or the other, we also were sometimes guilty of something before God.
TITUS 3:3
“At one time, *we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived, and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.”*
In verse 4, he says,
*”But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.”*
Those who get close enough to the throne of mercy are not judgemental.
*Glory to God in the highest.* Stay lifted.
